Sono Lee Jung-hyun, MVP of 2 consecutive rounds
Professional basketball Goyang Sono Lee Jung-hyun was unanimously selected as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the 6th round. It is the first time that a unanimous round MVP has been awarded since the voting was conducted in the 2015-16 season.
“Lee Jung-hyun has been named the MVP of the sixth round following the fifth round,” the KBL said on Sunday. “He received 80 out of 80 valid votes in the sixth round MVP vote of the 2023-24 Jeonggwanjang Professional Basketball Association, and won the first unanimous round MVP since the implementation of the round vote in the 2015-16 season.”
Lee Jung-hyun averaged 30.8 points (1st overall), 7.1 assists (2nd overall) and 3.0 steals (1st overall) in an average of 40 minutes and 17 seconds in eight games in the sixth round. Thanks to his performance in the sixth round, he received the assist, steal and 3-point shooting awards in the KBL Metrology Awards, which he revived in 20 years.
