‘Moon Jung-hyun’s final 3-pointer’ gives KT first laugh in 93:90 win over Hyundai Mobis
Suwon KT had the first laugh in the first round of the best-of-five best-of-six playoffs thanks to a game-winning three-pointer by rookie Moon Jung-hyun.
KT won 93-90 at home against the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis in the first round of the 2023-2024 Korean Basketball Association (KBA) Sixth Round Playoffs (PO) at the KT Arena in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, on Friday.

However, Hyundai Mobis’ Gage Prim’s shot missed and KT grabbed the rebound, and rookie Moon Jung-hyun hit a bold three-pointer with 17 seconds left to score the final points of the game.
Hyundai Mobis made the final offensive push, but rookie Park Moo-bin missed a three-pointer just before the end.
The game was a tightly contested affair as the two teams tied the score 12 times and led 15 times, with the largest lead being seven points.
KT was led by Paris Bass with 32 points and 21 rebounds, 30-20, while Heo Hoon also had a 20-point game.
Moon Jung-hyun added eight points and four rebounds.
Hyundai Mobis, the sixth-ranked team in the regular season, was led by Prim’s 20 points and Lee Woo-seok’s 18 points, but narrowly missed out on a first-round victory away from home.
