In his inaugural address, Lee vowed to do his best to become a competitive team without losing ground to the Seoul metropolitan area. “We will contribute to the development of Korean soccer by producing many great players under the competent coach Lee Chang-won,” said Jeon Ho-hwan, president of Dongmyeong University. “We will take a leap forward to the prestigious Do-ing (challenge, experience, practice) Dongmyeong University.”
Dongmyeong University, which plans to open a new soccer department for the 2024 school year, has decided to provide full support to Lee, including granting him a teaching position. The university has also decided to lay new grass on the field and provide accommodation and buses for athletes.
