Korean right-hander Mitch White has a new opportunity.

The San Francisco Giants announced on the 11th (Korea Standard Time) that they will trade White to the Milwaukee Brewers through a cash trade.

White was removed from the 40-man list as he was also named ahead of an away game against the Philadelphia Phillies on the 6th.

Players who are designated for transfer go through waivers, and in the process, they sometimes move their teams to trade like White.

It is already his third team this season. He previously moved from the Toronto Blue Jays to San Francisco through the same process on April 20.

He made three appearances after moving, but was sluggish with seven runs in 51/3 innings.

In an away game against Philadelphia on the 10th, starter Keaton Win, who collapsed in the first inning, took the mound as a relief pitcher and allowed four hits, four walks, and four runs in 21/3 innings.

Had a difficult start in the pouring rain, didn’t get good results. And had the bad luck of being left out of the season plan.

San Francisco manager Bob Melvin also said after his transfer was announced, “Something unfortunate happened” and hoped he would remain on the team if he passed through Weaver.

However, Melvin’s wish was not realized.

White, who was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second round of the 2016 draft, made his big league debut with the Dodgers in 2020.

In five seasons, he played in 65 games and recorded a 4-11 record with a 5.20 ERA.

Meanwhile, San Francisco announced on the same day that it had agreed to a trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates to give up right-hander Dalton Jeffries in exchange for outfielder Rodolfo Nolasco.안전놀이터

After Tommy John surgery in the 2023 season, he returned to the big leagues in the 2024 season, but was sluggish in two games, allowing 13 runs (9 earned) in 4.2 innings.

Like White, Yang was also named, but he got a chance in a new team.
