Kiwoom Heroes has announced its coaching staff
Korean professional baseball team Kiwoom Heroes has announced its coaching staff for the 2025 season.
“We have completed the organization of the first team and future team coaching staff for the 2025 season,” Kiwoom announced on Thursday. The first team, led by head coach Hong Won-ki, will continue to be coached by Kim Chang-hyun, pitching coach Lee Seung-ho, hitting coach Oh Yoon, battery coach Park Do-hyun, and operations and infield coach Park Jung-eum. First base and outfield coach Moon Chan-jong will serve as the defense coach from the 2025 season.
Chung, who retired from active play after this season, will begin his coaching career as the first team bullpen coach. Kim Jun-wan, formerly the first base coach for the Commerce Phoenix Baseball Organization, will serve as the first base and outfield defense coach.
Seol Jong-jin will continue to lead the Future Team.

Ma Jung-gil and Chae Jong-guk, who served as the first-team bullpen coach and infield defense coach for the Future Team until this season, will not be re-signed.
Kiwoom, which reached the Korean Series in 2022, finished last for the second straight year with 58 wins and 86 losses this season. After the season, top hitter Kim Hye-sung will try to make it to the major leagues. Manager Hong Won-ki will be in the final year of his three-year contract next year.
