Kim Min-jae’s teammate told ‘I can’t guarantee a starting spot

Leon Goretzka, who has been linked to Bayern Munich with Kim Min-jae, has been linked to a move to Manchester United.

“United are still keen on signing Goretzka this summer to bolster their midfield,” Germany’s Sky Sports reported on Wednesday.

Finding a new midfielder is one of United’s top priorities this summer. United manager Eric ten Hagh wanted a midfielder to replace Fred and Scott McTominay and improve the quality of the midfield.

The signing came quickly. The Red Devils signed Mason Mount from Chelsea in a £60 million deal, raising expectations for the new season.

A midfield addition is not out of the question. United have reportedly targeted Sofiane Amrabat in preparation for the departures of Fred, van der Vaart and Scott McTominay.

Goretzka has also emerged as a potential target. According to the report, Goretzka has been informed by manager Thomas Tuchel that he cannot guarantee a place in the squad next season.

United have emerged as a possible next destination. The outlet says: “United have been monitoring Goretzka for some time. The interest has not translated into an offer, but this summer could be different.”

Goretzka is well qualified to join United. Since joining Munich in 먹튀검증 2018, he has improved both technically and physically, and has consistently been linked with big clubs, including United.

The problem is, there are other teams who want him. West Ham are also keeping tabs on Goretzka as they look to fill the void left by Declan Rice. The Hammers have the financial resources from the sale of Rice and will not be easily outbid by the Red Devils.
