‘Guilty of domestic violence’
The Korea Volleyball Federation has imposed a one-year suspension on OK Financial Group setter Kwak Myung-woo, who was convicted by the court on domestic violence and other charges.
The Korean Volleyball Federation’s reward and punishment committee said, “We judged that the player’s prison sentence was an act of damaging the league’s dignity, but we took into account the fact that the player was deeply repentant and the victim pleaded for lenient punishment to the court.”
Kwak Myung-woo was sentenced to six months in prison, one year of suspension and one year of probation in the second trial in May on charges of violating the Communications Secret Protection Act and injuring his wife.
Prior to the reward and punishment committee, Kwak Myung-woo bowed his head and apologized, saying, “I will be punished and deeply reflect on myself.”토토사이트 추천
