Ulsan, 10 million won in fines…Electronic display of the game scene during VAR reading + exposing the opponent’s slanderous phrases
The Korea Professional Football Federation held the 11th Reward and Punishment Committee on the 25th and decided to discipline the Ulsan club with a fine of 10 million won.
The Ulsan club sent a replay of the game scene subject to the decision to the electronic display at a time when the referee made a VAR on-field review during the 27th round of the K League 1 against Jeonbuk at Munsu Football Stadium in Ulsan on the 19th. In addition, in the process of broadcasting an event in the field before the game, he exposed the contents of a cheering message that included an expression insulting the opposing club.
Article 25 (3) 3 of the K League’s guidelines stipulates that “home clubs must expose images that mean they are reading in the event of a VAR situation on the electronic display until the end of reading,” and disciplinary standards for each type of K League punishment rule allow the club to impose sanctions.
