Doosan’s Jang Won-jun becomes ninth individual in KBO history to reach 2,000 innings
Won-jun Jang (38, Doosan Bears) became the ninth player in KBO history to reach 2,000 career innings.Jang started the final game of the regular season against the SSG Landers of the 2023 Baseball World Series at SSG Landers Field in Incheon on Sunday and threw 4⅓ innings (seven hits and five runs).Jang Won-jun, who had thrown 1,995⅔ innings up until that point, reached exactly 2,000 innings before handing the mound over to Park Shin-ji.Jang is the ninth KBO player to throw more than 2,000 career innings, joining Song Jin-woo (3,300), Jung Min-cheol (2,394), Yang Hyun-jong (2,325), Lee Kang-chul (2,204), Kim Won-hyung (2,171), Bae Young-soo (2,167), Han Yong-duk (2,79), and Kim Kwang-hyun 슬롯게이밍 (2,913-as of Aug. 16).
