Construction Manager Appointed, Resorts World Las Vegas Casino Resort Commences Construction
Resorts World, a casino and resort currently under construction on the Las Vegas Strip, said it has appointed W.A. Richardson as construction manager after the Clark County Building Department approved the resumption of construction, which could be recalled.
The company behind the project is Genting Group, a Malaysian casino developer. The company operates casinos in New York, the United Kingdom, the Bahamas, Malaysia and Resort World. The construction of the project dates back to 2015. However, it is assumed that the Las Vegas casino in Genting will open in 2020 due to unfavorable economic conditions caused by the Great Depression will go according to every schedule.
Speaking of the latest announcement, Edward Farrell, president of the project, said workers had already begun preparations and the tower crane base was already fixed. He added that the tower crane will be installed within eight weeks. Another factor is the change in the resort’s initial design concept. Casino resorts were initially meant to feature a traditional Chinese atmosphere, but operators decided to change their plans to attract more people from new gambling venues.
It is interesting here that Mr Richardson has been appointed to the position of construction manager due to his extensive experience in the area. The company tasked with building Resort World Las Vegas is known as a contractor for other popular gambling houses, including Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo, Link and Cromwell.
