Charges, warrants issued for gamblers owed to Las Vegas casinos

A grand jury in Clark County, Nevada, indicted a gambler who lost $500,000 while playing table games at the Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in January last year. Mark Allen Johnston claimed he lost his money because he was drunk at the casino. The casino allows patrons who appear to be visibly drunk to not gamble.

Johnston was charged with theft and bad checks passing after exchanging four checks at a casino for a total credit of $500,000. 파워볼실시간

A warrant was issued Friday after Johnston failed to appear at a preliminary hearing in Las Vegas.

The Nevada Game Control Board investigated Johnston’s claims but closed the investigation due to a lack of evidence.
