One of the leading golf magazines, Golfweek, recently announced their recognitions for golf courses across the country, and Mohegan Sun Golf Club (MSGC) has been named to the “Best Casino Courses” from the 2017 season. Hundreds of Golfweek raters examine overall strength of routing, feature shaping, natural setting, greens, variety and memorability of holes, conditioning and maintenance, landscape management and other criteria to determine the nation’s best courses.

“This honor follows another distinction in 2016 where Mohegan Sun Golf Club was named to Golf Vacation Insider’s ‘Best Golf & Casino Resorts’ in the U.S. and Golfweek’s ‘Best State-By-State Courses You Can Play’ in 2016. We’re thrilled to be named one of Golfweek’s ‘Best Casino Courses’ and will continuously strive to offer one of the best golf experiences in the region,” said Mohegan Sun Golf Club VP & General Manager Philip Krick Jr.

Mohegan Sun has owned the 18-hole championship course, nestled in the scenic hills of Baltic, Connecticut, since 2007 and has consistently put in place great improvements and upgrades, both on the course and inside its spacious clubhouse, restaurant and banquet room. As the 14 April season open date approaches, MSCG is excited to showcase their updated practice area and an all-new menu at the Pautipaug Pub & Grille.

Led by PGA Professional Michel Painchaud, MSGC’s Golf Academy is back this year as well, with exclusive short game and practice area access, golf instruction discounts, access to the new fitness room, and invitations to instructional events all throughout the season.
