Al-Nasr ACL 3rd consecutive win…Kim Moon-hwan played for 85 minutes
Al-Nasr, who played the third Group E match of the 2023-2024 Asian Football Confederation Champions League (ACL) at the KSU Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the 25th (Korea Standard Time), beat Al-Duhail 4-3. Al-Nasr clinched first place in the group (nine points), while Al-Duhail remained third in the group (one point).
Ronaldo flew out of the ACL. Ronaldo shook the net with a powerful left-footed mid-range shot after receiving a pass from Sultan Algannam from the right in the 16th minute of the second half when Sadio Mane led 2-0. Goalkeeper Salah Zakaria reached out and touched the ball, but he couldn’t stop the ball from being sucked in.
Ronaldo also scored the winning goal. Ronaldo finished with an accurate left-footed volley from the left half space in the 36th minute of the second half when Al Duhail scored two goals and was chasing hard. It was a perfect score that hit the goal on the other goal.
Ronaldo has become the perfect Al-Nasr ace this season. In the Arab Club Champions Cup, he gave Al-Nasr the trophy with five consecutive goals, and he has been active with 14 goals and seven assists in the league and ACL this season. Al-Nasr remains atop the ACL group amid Ronaldo’s onslaught, while ranking third in the league (22 points) behind Al-Hilal and Al-Taiwon.
Kim Moon-hwan, who faced Ronaldo on the day, also performed well. He built up from the back through a stable pass, and in the 36th minute of the first half, he penetrated into the right half space and received a pass from Almoez Ali to create a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper.
Despite these efforts, it was not enough to stop the Al-Nasr attack. It is regrettable that Kim Moon-hwan tried to prevent Al-Nasr’s left attack, where Mane is present and Ronaldo supports, but allowed four goals to his opponent. Kim Moon-hwan was replaced in the 40th minute of the second half and left the stadium.
