$175,000 to five charities
The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians presented $175,000 to five charities on 2 December 2016 thanks to proceeds from the Tribe’s 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Indian Canyons Golf Resort. Those charities who each received a check for $35,000 are: the Boys & Girls Club of Coachella Valley, Shelter from the Storm, USO- Palm Springs, Institute of American Indian Arts and Running Strong.
