Who suffered a police arrest, entered the top ranks with 5-under par in the second round of the PGA Championship.
Scheffler made six birdies and one bogey in the second round of the 106th PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club (par 71) in Louisville, Kentucky, on the 18th (Korea time), and shot a 5-under 66.
Scheffler, who tied for 12th in the first round the previous day, recorded an interim total of 9 under par 133 (tied for 4th place).

A day before the second round of the PGA Championship, an employee of a competition supplier was reportedly hit and killed by a shuttle bus near the golf course. On his way to the golf course, Scheffler drove without following instructions from a police officer at the scene, and was stopped and handcuffed and even taken into custody. Notably, a police officer injured himself while stopping Scheffler’s car. In the end, the police charged Scheffler with assault on a police officer and booked him. A mugshot that was taken to identify the culprit was also disclosed on the spot.
