Sands China Ltd announced on Wednesday that it has entered into an exclusive partnership with a large Chimlong Non-gaming resort on Hung Chin Island, based in mainland China.
Together, the two companies will offer two unique center holiday packages.
The development of Chinese casinos is entering a period of intermediate development. Li Gang, the head of Beijing in Macau, said the development will contribute to the future growth and stability of urban casino commerce. Macau is getting smaller and needs more land to turn it over.
This follows a decade of rapid development in Macau’s gaming industry and, most recently, an eight-month decline in casino visitors. The reasons for the decline could be attributed to some government measures, including economic factors and stricter enforcement and restrictions on transit visa rules, and refusal to expand the China Union Pay facility. Since President Xi Junping launched an anti-corruption campaign, several senior employees have refrained from visiting Macau casinos.안전 슬롯사이트
Representatives have been considering Hung-chien Island to solve space problems in Macau, an island separated from the mainland. The island can offer as much as Macau, but without gambling. In 2009, China announced extensive development plans for the island, including the lack of amenities in Macau.
Chimlong and China Sands’ International Ocean Resort is helping the project gain momentum. The resort is a 10-minute drive from Macau and will feature manmade beaches and exciting theme parks. It will be the largest resort in China and will open in late 2015.
Gamers won’t be looking for a Hung-chien like Macao, but it will offer better options for those who want to spend more time in Macao because they lack gambling. Instead of passing through the two border checkpoints, visitors only have to go through Macau immigration whenever they want to visit the casino.
