Ko Goes on the Offensive… Hi-One Resort Women’s Open 3R Lead

‘Birdie Bomber’ Ko Ko-woo has taken an early lead at the Haiwon Resort Women’s Open on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour with her aggressive play.
Ko carded six birdies and one bogey to cut her lead to five strokes after the third round of the tournament at the par-72 Hiwon Resort Country Club in Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon Province, on Wednesday.
His 16-under-par 200 total gives him a one-stroke lead over Jeon Ye-sung (15-under-par 201).
Ko is no stranger to aggressive play, with 176 birdies in 16 events this season, good for second in that category.
Through rounds one through three of this tournament, she has 17 birdies.
Ko, who won her first KLPGA Tour title at the McCall-Mona Yongpyong Open in July last year, has a chance to win her second career title in less than a year.
Ko began the third round in a tie for second place, one stroke behind the leader, but birdied three consecutive holes from Nos. 1-3 and added a birdie on the par-4 ninth to take the lead.
After two more birdies in the second half, Ko was disappointed to finish with a bogey on the final hole (par-4) after failing to put his second shot on the green.
Jeon Ye-seong, who won the EverCollagen Queen’s Crown in July 2021, will also be looking to return to the top after a three-year absence.
Jeon picked up four birdies without a bogey to hold off Ko by one stroke.
Lee Chae-eun is in third place at 13-under-par 203, while Cho Hye-rim and Ji Hansol are tied for fourth at 12-under-par 204. 토토사이트 순위
