Hangzhou AG and Korea Baseball will compete in Group B against Taiwan and Japan in Group A.

The Korean National Baseball Team’s groupings and schedule for the Hangzhou Asian Games have been finalized.
According to the official website of the Hangzhou Asian Games, the Koreans have been drawn into Group B alongside Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, and teams that will advance through the qualifying rounds (First Stage).
The group stage schedule has also been finalized. Ryu Joong-il’s side will open their campaign against Hong Kong on Oct. 1. They will then play Chinese Taipei on October 2, followed by a second match against the winner of the preliminary round on October 3.
At the Asian Games, the first and second place finishers in Groups A and B will advance to the Super Round, where they will face two countries from the other group, following the format of amateur international competitions.
The super rounds are played with the group stage results intact, with the first and second place finishers facing off in the final for the gold medal. The final will be played on October 7.
Japan is in Group A, along with China, the Philippines, and the winner of the preliminary round.
