‘9-1 against Doosan’ Samsung coach Park Jin-man: “Last year we were beaten a lot”

The Samsung Lions of the Korean Baseball Organization have been energized by the Doosan Bears this season.
Things start to come together against Doosan, and they even get lucky during the game.
Samsung won 9-5 against Doosan in Jamsil on Dec. 12 to improve to 9-1 against the Bears.
With 16 games between the teams in a season, Samsung could lose all of its remaining games against Doosan this season and still maintain its head-to-head advantage.
Samsung head coach Park Jin-man struggled to keep a straight face as he spoke to reporters before the game against Doosan in Jamsil on Wednesday.
“Last year, we were beaten a lot,” Park said, “but I think the players have prepared well this year. They are more energetic and seem to be playing well. There is definitely a psychological impact,” Park said.
Last year, Park’s team was absolutely dominated by Doosan, going 5-11 against them.
He was brutalized by Doosan coach Lee Seung-yeop, who was born in 1976, and this year, he is getting his revenge.
Park said, “The professional world is cold. You have to make sure you get it. At the end of the season, one win means a lot,” Park said, adding, “We have to make sure that we win when we can.”
Samsung will look to secure a sweep of the weekend’s three-game series (at least two wins out of three) with domestic ace Won Tae-in.
“Won Tae-in has been pitching steady innings,” Park said. Even though he had a tough first half, I think he did a good job of resting and controlling his condition before the second half, so I’m confident he’ll pitch well today.” 안전놀이터
