2024 Korean and Italian Men’s Volleyball Sign Global Super Match Business Agreement
Officials, including Shin Moo-chul, secretary-general of the Korean Volleyball Federation, Alessandra Marzari, and Park Hyun-chul, head of KBSN’s sports division, attended the signing ceremony on July 9 (local time), which was held at Opiquad Arena, the home stadium of Monza, Vero Bali, and promised joint cooperation to host a global super match.
Vero Bali Monza is a team that Lee Woo-jin, a former member of the Korean youth team, belongs to as an intern in the 2023-2024 season, and finished second in the Italian first-division professional league, Superlega, and registered Lee Woo-jin as an official player ahead of next season.
Through this agreement, Vero Balli Monza will participate in two friendly matches in Korea, and will play one match each against the Korean Air Jumbos, the winner of last season’s V-League, and Team Kobo, which will consist of representatives from the V-League.
